Outdoor Alternatives

I'm sure you've noticed that as our kids become teens, unless we 're offering up a trip to Europe, they are less likely to get excited about anything that takes them away from their friends and most importantly their electronic devices, even a family vacation. But, maybe it's time for something different. Perhaps, an adventure outdoors.

The Sierra Club offers 20 trips for families and encourages single parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles to get away together for a weekend or a week trip. It may only be the beginning of the new year but those summer months will come around fast, so it's good to book ahead of time. They are now taking deposits.
