12- Hour Stew

1 pkg. dried onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 lb stew meat
1/4-1/2 cup red wine (according to taste)
4 cups water
vegetables of choice (onions, carrots, peas, potatoes, celery)

Combine and place in a crock pot for 12 hours.
(May also be prepared in a 225-degree oven for 5 hours.)
Add fresh vegetables 2 hours before serving. Heat frozen
vegetables before adding them to the stew.

Serve with noodles or rice.
