Most of the nearly 13 million single family homes in the U.S. are headed by single mothers. Many of those moms struggle to make ends meet because they lack the education to gain a better-paying job. Between work and parenting responsibilities, carving out time and money to further their education is often not an option. Founder and CEO Genevieve Thiers is an expert in the childcare field. The eldest of 7 children, Thiers worked her way through college by babysitting for more than 30 families.
